My name is Floyd Mattoon doing research on surnames GRIMES, EVANS and BLOODWORTH. 
I am looking for the physical address of a Patent of David Evans made in  1736 of 640 acres in 
present Pender County, probably on rt 117 headed toward Duplin county line. Below are listed 
the names of persons who occupied lots in what was South Washington. This was a village of 
62 lots where residences were built and about 7 stores were located. It was located off rt 117 
where the present Riverview cemetery is located, a mile before Rockfish creek. The names 
are located below to the best of my ability.

I am looking for my great grandmother's family who is SHRADER. She was born in a place 
called HELENA NC. Someone, told me this is or was, in Pender Co. 
(note from Diane Siniard- Helena is named St Helena and it IS in Pender Co.)
Do you know if it is or not?.......she was born in 1887...but I can find no trace of her family.
Sadly, I have very little information. Her name was Laura Shrader born June-9-1887 in Helena 
(newspaper obit) NC. She had three sisters, Mrs. Luther Enochs,Mrs.Annie Martin and Mrs.
Harry Mountcastle. I don't know the first names of the sisters or her parents. I have tried to 
find a Shrader family in St. Helena but have had no luck. I would appreciate any help at all.

Looking for first wife and parents of William Wright CASTEEN of New Hanover/Pender Counties. 
He was born abt 1812 in NC and died 18 July 1903 and is buried at Rileys Creek Baptist Church 
Cemetery in Pender County. He married 3 times; Nancy HUMPHERY ?, Martha SANDERSON, 
and June Holland HARRINGTON. Children were John Bryant, Jacob, Kinsey, Elizabeth, Susan, 
Wright, Arminta?, Nathaniel. I am descendant of John Bryant Casteen. He lived in Wilmington 
area. Most willing to share data on this family. Will apreciate any and all help on this family.

JUNE


I am researching William Cromartie, Alexander Hendry and Hiram Tucker from this area. 
William Cromartie had a daughter Thankful who married Alexander Hendry.  Their daughter 
Catharine married Hiram Tucker.  I know this information but I have no or very little proof.  
I am interested in copies of original documents if at all possible and where to obtain them 
cost etc.  I am willing to pay for copies and gas.

JULY


In a cemetary off of 210 W in Hampstead (across from Cross Creek) I found this :
Elzer R Morgan b:1985 d:1990
Ida J Morgan b: 1896 d: 1977
There are 2 small, childsize unmarked graves beside this.
I would like info on the children of this MORGAN.
I believe one of the names is "Charlotte".
